Join Mensa
Membership in Mensa is open to persons who have attained a score within the upper two percent of the general population on an approved intelligence test that has been properly administered and supervised. There is no other qualification or disqualification for membership eligibility.
There are two ways to qualify for membership: either take the Mensa test, or submit a qualifying score from another test.
Locally, qualification tests are administered by our Testing Coordinator, Dave Felt. For detailed information on how to take the test, including testing dates and contact information, please click here.
Just about everything you might want to know about how to join Mensa is available on the American Mensa website, including information on submitting qualifying scores from tests other than the Mensa qualifying test such as college preparatory tests and tests administered by private psychologists. As that site points out, Many people find this a quick and easy way to qualify for Mensa membership, as they often qualify on tests they have already taken at some point in their lives.
Rejoin Mensa
The American Mensa website also includes information on how to rejoin after your membership has lapsed. Rejoining is easy; you don’t even need to take the test again. Follow this link for details.
